Will J. Lee, 75, formerly of the first block of Carver Circle, a retired custodian, died March 8, 1995, in Newport News General Hospital.
Mr. Lee was born in Snow Hill, Ala., and was the widower of Willie B. Lee. He was retired from Oceana Naval Air Station, Portsmouth General Hospital and Maryview Medical Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Irma Cammon of Portsmouth, Edna Grant of Suffolk, and Vera Grandison and Wilhelmenia Gilmore, both of Alabama; a son, Alphonza Lee of Portsmouth; a sister, Daisy Boyd of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Davidson Savage of Alabama; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Alphonso Griffin. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. The family will be at the home of his daughter, 539 Dorset Ave., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
