Estelle P. Johnson, 82, of Virginia Beach, a retired waitress, died March 9, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Southampton County, Va. and was the widow of Joshua B. Johnson. She was retired from Norfolk General Hospital and the Tea Room at Rices Department Store.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie Boyd of Virginia Beach; two sons, Thomas E. Johnson of Newport, N.C. and Joshua Johnson Jr. of Sumter, S.C.; a sister, Texie Askew of Knotts Island, N.C.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces, Carolyn Batac and family of Chesapeake and JoAnn Clark Lane.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by Dr. Kelly J. Burris. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations will be accepted.
