DISTRICT A
Grand larceny, 4900 block Bennetts Pasture Road, Feb. 24, someone removed approximately $350-$400 that was in a white envelope from a pocketbook left unattended.
Felony vandalism, 6000 block Bradford Drive, Feb. 25, someone threw a Mistic Royal bottle though the rear window of a vehicle. The amount of damage was valued at $1,095.
Breaking and entering (house), 6000 block Camellia Drive, Feb. 27, someone gained entry by breaking open a front window. A Eureka Powerline Vacuum valued at approximately $99 was removed.
Petit larceny, 4800 block Bridge Road, Feb. 27, a disabled vehicle was parked on Bridge Road. After being towed to the owner's home, it was discovered that the front and rear license plates had been removed.
Lost city decals, 2800 block South Nansemond Drive, Feb. 28, three Suffolk city decals were misplaced, possibly in the trash at home.
Lost or stolen decal, 4300 block Crowdy Blvd., March 2, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from the windshield of a vehicle.
DISTRICT B
Lost or stolen decal, Chuckatuck Lane, Feb. 24, a Suffolk city decal was purchased but is nowhere to be found and may have blown out of the vehicle window.
Breaking and entering (garage), 3200 Lake Prince , Feb. 26, someone entered an unlocked garage and removed approximately $520 in tools including one rimmer, one rotor, two Mitchells reels, 10 wrenches, 10 pliers and three hammers.
Breaking and entering (business), 5400 block Nansemond Parkway, Feb. 27, somone gained access to four trailers, three of which were locked. Approximately $2,732.90 worth of equipment was removed and an '84 Ford F-250 pickup truck was vandalized.
Lost city decal, Portsmouth Blvd. , Feb. 28, someone was driving with the windows down when his 1995 Suffolk city decal blew out of the window.
DISTRICT C
Grand larceny, 2600 block Woodcreek Court, Feb. 25, someone returned to his vehicle to find the passenger side vent window broken out and the door unlocked. One Sony CD player was removed.
Breaking and entering (business), 100 block Suffolk Plaza, Feb. 26, someone attempted to pry open the rear door of a business, damaging the lock, but was unable to gain access. A storage wagon was then pried open but nothing was removed.
Breaking and entering (business), 300 block South Wellons Street, Feb. 27, someone gained entry to a business and removed a burgandy-colored leather chair with leather trim and two black styling chairs.
Lost or stolen city decal, 900 block North Main Street, Feb. 28, someone removed a Suffolk city decal while it was parked on North Main Street.
DISTRICT D
Lost or stolen city decal, 400 block Word Terrace, Feb. 24, someone took two Suffolk city decals home, where they may have been lost in a house fire.
Attempted Motor vehicle theft, hit and run, 200 block Carolina Ave., a driver ran into a Virginia Power pole while attempting to steal a bronze, two-door '78 Ford T-Bird. The driver then left the car and fled the scene.
Lost or stolen tag, Truman and Whitemarsh Road, Feb. 25, someone was involved in a four-vehicle collision in which the car sustained rear end damage, disloging the tag. When the driver discovered the tag missing, he searched the area but was unable to find it.
Petit larceny, 30 block Stacy Drive, Feb. 25, someone removed a rear license plate from a vehicle.
Petit larceny, East Washington Street, Feb. 26, a 20-inch purple and white girl's Huffy bicycle was removed from a bike rack.
Lost or stolen city decals, Various locations, Feb. 27, several people reported their Suffolk city decals missing.
Petit larceny, 400 block Carolina Road, Feb. 27, someone entered a 1989 Ford sedan and removed a Tandy cellular phone valued at $73.
Lost or stolen city decal, 1200 block River Road, Feb. 28, a Suffolk city decal placed on a bar at home is now missing.
Breaking and entering (home), 800 block Hosier Road, Feb. 28, someone pried open the south side back door and entered a home to remove $37 in coins.
Malicious wounding, 300 block Capitol Street, Mar. 1, someone was hit in the head and face with a bottle.
Grand larceny (auto), 300 block Carolina Road, March 1, someone broke a window to gain entry to a dark blue, 4-door, '81 Buick Electra and took the car.
Forging and uttering, 500 block East Constance Road, March 1, someone forged and uttered a check from the Central Fidelity Bank in the amount of $190.
Breaking and entrering (house, attempt), 400 block Woodruff Street, March 2, someone cut through a screen and broke out a window in an attempt to gain entry to a house. Residence has had previous attempts.
DISTRICT E
Grand larceny, 3700 block Old Mill Road, Feb. 26, someone entered a house and removed several thousand dollars worth of items including firearms, CDs, a stereo, a VCR, a camcorder and jewelry.
Grand larceny, 1800 block Holland Road, Feb. 28, someone entered an apartment and removed an Olympus 35mm Infinity II camera, a Super Nintendo and three games, a birthstone ring and a Kyle Petty clock.
Lost or stolen decal, 800 block Dutch Road, March 1, someone damaged a Suffolk city decal while attempting to place it on a windshield.
DISTRICT F

Suffolk Detective R.L. Ross is asking for help in finding the
person responsible for a grand larceny.
On the weekend of Feb. 21, an unknown suspect went to the trailer
at Lot 126 off of Pughsville Road in Suffolk and stole a number of
items. Thieves gained entry through the trailer skirting and removed
a Poulan chainsaw and a red tool box containing assorted Mac and
Craftsman tools, some engraved with the initials ``J.J.W.'' and the
number 224-19-6765. These tools include 1/2-, 3/8- and 1/4-inch
sockets, ratchets, wrenches, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers and
pliers.
