Barbara J. Owens, 65, of the 200 block of Hall Drive, died Saturday, March 11, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
She was born in Norfolk, Va., and the daughter of the late Grady F. and Mrs. Mattie Tillett Owens. She was retired as owner of the F & B Credit Company and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and the Great Bridge Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Moore of Virginia Beach and Diana Clark of Chesapeake; one brother, Grady Franklin Owens Jr. of Charlottesville, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tom Mercer. The family will receive friends at the Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, on Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
