LAURIE S. TAYLOR

Laurie Sharon Swenson Taylor, 44, of the 1800 block of Castleton Court, a full-time student at Old Dominion University and homemaker, died March 11, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Worcester, Mass. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Edwin Drive and Princess Anne Road. She was involved with the Relief Society Organization and was a past Sunday School teacher with the church. She was past vice president and secretary of ``Phi Theta Kappa'' Sorority at Tidewater Community College.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Taylor Jr.; three daughters, Amy E. Taylor, Raleigh S. Taylor and Noelle M. Taylor of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert J. Taylor III of Virginia Beach; her mother, Kathleen H. Swenson of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Linda Loyd of Fort McClellan, Ga., and Lou Anne George of Salt Lake City, Utah; and two brothers, Charles G. Swenson of Moyock, N.C., and Joel D. Swenson of Goldsboro, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints by Bishop Robert G. Lucas. Entombment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park, N. Great Neck Road. Visitation will be in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurie S. Taylor Fund, c/o Central Fidelity Bank, 1615 General Booth Blvd., Virginia Beach, Va. 23454.
