ALPHONSO GREEN

Alphonso ``Coppie'' Green of the 15000 block of Wakefield Road, a retired civil service worker, died March 10, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Green was born in Southampton County, Va. He was a member of Southampton AME Zion Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret A. Green and Henry W. Green.

Survivors include two sisters, Earlene Green Griffin of Courtland and Mary Ellen Comerford of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in David Temple AME Zion Church by the Rev. Dandy Arrington. Burial will be in Southampton AME Zion Church Cemetery. Engram Funeral Home Inc., 21451 N. Main St., Courtland, in charge.
