Jimmy Gene Martin, 50, of the 2200 block of Iowa St., a self-employed livestock trader, died March 11, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Martin was born in Conway, S.C. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Bridge.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bridgers Martin of Portsmouth; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary K. Martin and Della Martin, both of Chesapeake; his mother, Connie Craig of Norfolk; two sisters, Shirley Petty of Norfolk and Patsey Waggoner of Portsmouth; a brother, William F. Martin of Raleigh, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Shannon Martin and Jenny Martin, both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
