MARCI ROGERS

Marci Rogers, of Virginia Beach, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 1995.

She was born in Williston Park, N.Y., on Aug. 13, 1926, and later worked for the United Nations.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Rogers of Virginia Beach; son, Jeff Rogers of Klecknersville, Pa.; daughters, Gail Simone of Virginia Beach and Jean Mirizio of Great Falls, Va.; and six grandchildren, Heather and Tyler Rogers, Ashley and Travis Simone and Eryne and Philip Mirizio. Her two surviving brothers and a sister are, Ken Daley of Virginia Beach, Jack Daley and Helen Wright of New York.

A service to celebrate her life and memory will be held at Galilee Episcopal Church, Pacific Avenue, Virginia Beach, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15th. The Rev. Michael Simone, pastor of Spring Branch Community Church, will conduct the memorial service. The family requests that gifts be made to the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center, in lieu of flowers. Bural will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
