Ella Mae Holly Russell, 92, a homemaker, died March 12, 1995.
Mrs. Russell was born in Powellsville, N.C. She was the widow of Harvey Lee Russell and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was also a member of the Relief Society and a former Sunday School teacher. She was predeceased by her parents, Sarah Ella Holloman Holly and Marcus L. Holly.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Ann Copeland of Hampton and Mrs. Shirley R. Deans of Suffolk; three sons, Vernon Lee Russell, Dalton Gray Russell and Harvey Edwin Russell, all of Suffolk; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hill Funeral Home by Elder James P. Councill III, the Rev. Rob Vaughn, Bishop Carlton McCuiston and Elder Joshua Bunch. Burial will be in Cypress Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at 119 Benton Road, Suffolk.
