I noted with interest that Pat Robertson visited Mel White and then dropped the trespassing charges he had previously filed against him. Mel was in jail because Pat put him there. Mel stayed in jail rather than post bail. Now Mel is out. My question: Just how much did it cost the public to keep Mel in jail for more than three weeks? Why should it cost us any of those very short public dollars just because those two disagree?
Too bad we can't afford to keep some of the real criminals in jail.
