Myra E. Lassiter of the 3000 block of Parkside Drive, a custodian, died March 12, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Mrs. Lassiter was born in South Norfolk and was employed with K-Plus Janitorial Services.
Survivors include her husband, Harrison L. Lassiter Jr.; two daughters, Yonique D. Fentress and Theresa R. Fentress; a son, Antwone M. Fentress; a stepson, Adrian Miller; her mother, Carlee Fentress; and her father, Luther Askew Jr., all of Chesapeake; five sisters, Pecola Lane, Gloria Fentress and Theresa Fenning, all of Chesapeake, Evon Ekure and Regina Johnson, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Steven Fentress of Chesapeake and Roger Fentress of Norfolk; and paternal grandmother, Clintoria Manley of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, Westmunden, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Dr. John L. Ashby. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
