Virginia Beach police Sgt. Mike P. Ronan, right, accepts

Monday at the Life-Saving Museum of Virginia at the Oceanfront.
Behind them is Officer Russell Christe. Ronan and Christe were
honored for saving a man who plunged into the ocean Feb. 22 near the
museum. The two officers dived into the 39-degree surf and pulled
the man to safety. All three were treated for hypothermia.
