Ronnie Lawrence, 39, died March 10, 1995, after a long, hard struggle with a terminal illness.
Mr. Lawrence was born in Virginia Beach, Va., and was predeceased by his mother, Mrs. Hilda May Lawrence.
Survivors include his father, Charlie Lawrence Sr.; stepmother, Mrs. Eloise Patterson of New York; three sisters, Hilda M. Lawrence of New York, Dorothy Thomas and Bernice Mack, both of Norfolk; seven brothers, Jerome Lawrence of New York, William Henry Lawrence and Bernard Shabazz, both of Chesapeake, Louis Lawrence, Charlie Lawrence Jr., Lewell Lawrence and Mitchell Lawrence, all of Norfolk; two aunts; two uncles; three sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Roosevelt Memorial Gardens at noon Saturday by the Rev. Charles W. Cuffee of First Baptist Church, Camelot. The family will receive family and friends at 336 Providence Road in Chesapeake.
