Barbara Fries Lehmkuhl, 58, of the 1300 block of W. 38th St., died peacefully on March 11, 1995, at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and has gone to be with Donald and Angel.
Mrs. Lehmkuhl was born in Williamsport, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Ruth and Franklin Fries, and was the widow of Donald Lehmkuhl.
She brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her and will be missed by her friends at Catholic Worker House and the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Meyer and Lucille Case.
A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at 1321 W. 38th St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Biloxi, Miss.
