RAYMOND B. PAUL

Raymond Bright Paul, 98, of the 7600 block of Gleneagles Road, died on Tuesday, March 14, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

He was the retired owner and operator of the D.P. Paul Jewelry Store in Tidewater for many years.

Mr. Paul was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Annie Gertrude Bright and David Philo Paul Sr. He attended Second Presbyterian Church, and was a member of the Ruth Masonic Lodge (NU)89, John Walters Royal Arch Chapter (NU)68, Grice Commandery (NU)16, Knights Templar, a 50-year member of Khedive Shrine Temple, and was a former member of the Norfolk Host Lions Club.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Harold Lee Chandler Jr., M.D., of Norfolk; a sister, Ruth Eason of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Steven E. Frazier. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday for visitaiton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, Greenville Unit, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.
