SHAUNA JANAL CASTEEN

Shauna Janal Casteen, 16, died March 14, 1995.

Shauna was born in Portsmouth, Va. She was a sophomore at South Gwinnett High School in Snellville where she was an honor student and member of the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squad. Shauna also played softball with the South Gwinnett Athletic Association, and was a member of the Loganville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Bonnie) Casteen; one sister, Alana Leigh Casteen; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John (Shirley) Bundy of Loganville, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. Dillard (Sue) Zumbro of Sugar Hill, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde (Georgia) Casteen; great-grandmother, Mrs. Ida Ashley, all of Chesapeake, Va.; three aunts, Cindy Sue Casteen, Joy Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. Art (Tammy) Martin; six cousins, Jeremy, Joshua and Johnathon Anderson, Phillip, Heather and Todd Martin; and a special friend, Joseph Chaney of Snellville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Snellville with the Rev. Ronnie Kendall officiating. Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Members of the Junior Varsity and Varsity Cheerleading Squad at S.G.H.S. will serve as Honorary Escort and please assemble at the church at 3 p.m. Those desiring may make donations to the Youth Building Fund, Loganville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 305, Loganville, Ga. 30249 in memory of Miss Shauna Janal Casteen. Family will receive friends this evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, Inc.
