William E. ``Junie'' Brown Jr., 58, of the 1400 block of Loren Crescent, died March 14, 1995.
Mr. Brown was born in Norfolk County and was a warehouse employee of H.B. Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley L. Brown; a daughter, Shirley Riddick of Portsmouth; two sons, Irvin Brown of Portsmouth and Robert Casper Brown; his father, William E. Brown Sr. of Portsmouth; three sisters, Gladys T. Whitehurst, Delores Collins and Jacquelyn V. Hall, all of Portsmouth; five brothers, Major A. Brown, Curtis L. Brown, Herbert A. Brown, Marvin Brown, all of Portsmouth, and Dennis J. Brown of Jarratt, Va.; four loving grandchildren, Cardell C. Patillo Jr., Adrienne Brown, Ronnie Brown and Shani Brown, all of Portsmouth; a daughter-in-law, Devera Brown; and a son-in-law, Shelton Riddick, both of Portsmouth. He was predeceased by his mother, Etta Louise Brown.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark Church of Deliverance in Portsmouth by Bishop Marion Jones. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at 1413 Loren Crescent, Portsmouth, at 10:15 a.m. Saturday for the processional to the church.
