Staff writer Betsy Wright states that she does not believe homosexuality is a sin and is asking others who believe as she does to look for ways to mainstream homosexuals into the community of faith (religious column, March 11).
If by community of faith she means the church as established by Jesus Christ, her search has as much logic as a blind man in a dark room at night looking for a black dog who isn't there.
Homosexuality is strongly forbidden and condemned in both the Old and New Testaments.
One of the missions of the church is to help all of us overcome those things which God calls sin - not condone it.
