SHELTON D. GAFFORD

Shelton Daniel Gafford, 32, of 27024 Fort Emory Road, died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, in Southampton County.

Mr. Gafford, a native of Dinwiddie County, Va., was the son of Daniel Shelton Gafford of Chesterfield, Va., and Margret von Zoldeck Gafford of Dinwiddie County. Mr. Gafford was a dressage instructor three days a week at Sterling Meadows, Virginia Beach. He was a graduate of Richard Bland College, attended Old Dominion University and was a graduate of St. Leo College at Fort Lee, Va., with a B.A. in computer science. Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancee, Darlene Trace of Chesapeake.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Shel Gafford Dressage Memorial Fund, c/o Margret Gafford, 27024 Fort Emory Road, Petersburg, Va. 23803.
