Helen W. Franklin, 79, of the 6300 block of Sangamin Ave., died March 16, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Gretna, Va., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Franklin; one daughter, Lynda M. Beach of Danville, Va.; one son, Michael Franklin of Norfolk; mother, Florence T. Worley of Danville, Va.; two sisters, Irene Anglin of Virginia Beach and Jean Phillips of Danville, Va.; one brother, Edwin Worley of Danville, Va.; one grandchild, Theresa B. Keatts of Danville; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday, March 18, 1995, at 2 p.m. by Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr. in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 p.m.
