Joseph Charles Shubeck, 86, of 422 Rennie Court, died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, in Marian Manor.
He was a native of Erie, Pa., and was the beloved husband of Pilar Samper Shubeck.
Mr. Shubeck retired in 1971 after 50 years as a Merchant Marine Captain with the Amaerican Export Lines.
In addition to his beloved wife, Pilar, he is survived by one daughter, Susan Shubeck of San Francisco, Calif.; two stepsons, Al Samper of Virginia Beach and Frank Samper of Spain; one sister, Helen Kennedy of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. in Maestas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel by the Rev. Richard T. Yates. Burial will be at a later date at sea.
