Le'Nisha Patrice Turner, infant daughter of Patrick Turner, U.S. Navy E-4, and LeNita Turner, of the 900 block of Suburban Parkway, was born March 11, 1995. Her homegoing was March 12, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She is survived by her parents; maternal grandmother, Velma Pleasant of Norfolk; maternal birth grandfather, Robert Cherry Jr. of Norfolk; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wardell Scott of Fort Myers, Fla.; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Neal of Chesapeake; paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Flossie Riley of Fort Myers, Fla.; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Matthews; paternal great-great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary E. Carr of Fort Myers, Fla.; four uncles, Carlos Jones, Sylvester Pleasant Jr., and William Pleasant, all of Norfolk, and James Solomon Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla.; one aunt, Shalonda Scott of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a host of great-uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Burial will be at sea 11 a.m. Saturday with the Minister Sylvester Pleasant Sr. officiating. Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling the arrangements.
