Thelma Melnicove Reich, 81, of the 6400 block of Crescent Way, died March 16, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Reich, a native of Baltimore, was the widow of Ezra Reich. She was a member of Beth El Congregation and its sisterhood and past president of the Hadassah. Mrs. Reich was a member of The Seaboard Region of the Hadassah; member and former president of Hebrew Ladies Charity Society; Brith Sholom Auxiliary; and a volunteer with the American Red Cross.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Baker and her husband, Melvin of Virginia Beach, and Rosalind Drucker and her husband, Gary of Virginia Beach; a sister, Ronnie Melnicove of Baltimore; two brothers, Harold and Lester Melnicove, both of Bethesda, Md.; and four grandchildren, Robin and Stephen Drucker and Barry and Marc Baker.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hadassah or the American Diabetes Association. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
