Samuel D. Douglas, 68, of the 1200 block of Roosevelt Blvd., died March 14, 1995.
Mr. Douglas retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service and was a retired tug boat master from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Douglas; two daughters, Gwendolyn Douglas and Jacqueline Douglas Osborn; two sons, Michael Douglas and Mark Douglas; and four grandchildren, Tyrone Douglas, Nicole Douglas, Lawrence Douglas and Marcus Douglas.
A memorial service will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home. The cremains will be buried at sea.
