Nellie M. Ford, 94, of the 9300 block of Morwin St., died March 17, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Ford was born in Bedford County, Va., and was retired as supervisor of Personal Property for the City of Norfolk after 32 years of service. She was the widow of Donnell G. Ford and a member of Hyde Park Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley George of Norfolk; a son, W. Paul Sanderlin Jr. and his wife, Joyce of Norfolk; a sister, Mary L. Little of Norfolk; eight grandchildren, James George, Glen George, Cheri George, Tammy Olsen, W. Paul Sanderlin III, Wanda Young, Jeraldine Broughton and Lisa Rybaczuk; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Terry Beck. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
