Vivian Angus Coltes, 86, of the 2000 block of Colorado Ave., died March 17, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Coltes was a native of New Kent County, Va., and was retired as a supervisor (electrician) from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was the State Patriarch from 1958 to 1991.
Survivors include his wife, Lida ``Dot'' Coltes; four daughters, Dorothy Jones of Arizona, Sharon Johnson of Germany, Donna Johnson of Richmond and Patricia Owen of Maine; a son, Ronald V. Coltes of Smithfield; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Portsmouth, by Bishop Coleman Smith. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond.
