Sheriff A.L. ``Bert'' Austin said Friday that four teenagers have been arrested on grand jury indictments as a result of an ongoing investigation into a series of winter breaking and enterings and larcenies in Avon and Frisco on Hatteras Island.
John Forest Cary II, 17, of Avon, has been charged with eight counts of felony breaking and entering and larceny, seven counts of felony larceny and seven counts of felony possession of stolen goods.
Salvatore Palazzolo, 17, of Avon, has been charged with five counts of felony breaking and entering, four counts of felony larceny and five counts of felony possession of stolen goods.
Leonardo Palazzolo, 16, of Avon, has been charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods.
Alan Matthew Frakas, 16, of Buxton, has been charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods.
All four were released on bond pending appearance in Superior Court. by CNB
