A campaign to raise funds for a group foster home has been launched by Dare County residents.
Nan Willis was elected head of the new organization, named ``The Wright Place.'' Terry S. Gannon was named vice chair and Ann Ownley was named secretary.
Named to the board of directors were Lynn Bryant, Jay Burrus, Bob DeGabrielle, Spottswood Graves, Darlene Harrell, Ann Laughlin, Susan Nelson, Virginia Tillett, Joanne Williams, Robert Williams, Patsy Zoll and Loretta Michael.
The next meeting will be held at the Nags Head Fire Station at noon April 10. by CNB
