Regarding ``Convenience-store clerks sitting ducks'' (letter, March 10): 7-Eleven was exactly that years ago. The stores opened at 7 a.m. and closedsps at 11 p.m.
The convenience stores create their own problems. If a person can't buy a six-pack or a pack of cigarettes before 11 p.m., let him wait until the next day. All-night ``convenience'' is just that for the robber, rapist or killer.
Close the convenience stores and we'll all enjoy a good night's rest.
