Edward J. Dodski, 77, of the 300 block of Appaloosa Trail, died March 18, 1995, in Sentara Village, Norfolk.
Mr. Dodski was born in Jersey City, N.J. He retired from Western Electric after 30 years, was a member of B.P.O.E., Ormond Beach, Fla., and a Navy veteran of the World War II as a gunners mate. He was the widower of Anna Dombrowski Dodski.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellenjo Backus of Chesapeake; two sons, John Kurtz of Jacksonville, Fla., and Edward J. Dodski, Jr. of Rossville, Ga.; three sisters, Ann Schubeck of Little River, S.C., Terri Zmiejewski of Delaware and Florence Czech of California; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
