Hazel Agela Palasthy, 82, of the 4400 block of Columbia St., died March 18, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Palasthy was born in Belhaven, N.C. She was a member of Monumental United Methodist Church and was past president of Portsmouth Womens Club.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Arthur M. Palasthy Sr.; two sons, George Edward Palasthy of Virginia Beach and Arthur M. Palasthy Jr. of Capron; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Monumental United Methodist Church, 450 Dinwiddie St., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
