Carolina Dill Davis, 83, of the 7400 block of Hampton Boulevard, a retired bookkeeper, died March 18, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Davis was born in Lewes, Del. She had retired from American Sheet Metal Corp. and the Diocese of Southern Virginia. She was the widow of William F. Davis Jr. and was a member of the Episcopal Church of Epiphany. She was active in Parish convocation and Diocesan work for many years. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Louise K. Dill.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Davis Givens of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert B. Givens Jr. of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Robert Alan Givens of Lincoln, Neb., Christopher Bruce Givens of Regensburg, Germany and Jarrod Scott Givens of Virginia Beach; a sister, Zelda D. McGee of Norfolk; a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews and a devoted friend, Jessie L. Snyder.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Episcopal Church of the Epiphany by the Rev. Richard O. Bridgford. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 7463 Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk, from noon until 8 p.m. each day until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Church of the Epiphany or to the American Cancer Society. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, in charge.
