Sheet rock contractor David Bloom, who uses stilts on his job, dons
non-work-related clothes for Sunday's St. Patrick's Day parade in
Nags Head. Awards were given to best unit, Etheridge Seafood
Restaurant; best float, Goombays Grille and Raw Bar; and best band,
Manteo High School. About 8,000 people lined the mile-long route to
watch the 125 units.
