Sondra Belita Collay-Brown, 45, of the 5300 block of Bellfield Road, a work order control clerk, died March 18, 1995, in her residence.
She was born in New York City and was employed with the Norfolk Naval Supply Center for 25 years. She was a graduate of Prospect High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. and attended Long Island College.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny N. Brown of the home; her father, George Collay; a sister, Gloria Estep; a brother, Thomas Branch; maternal grandmother, Mattie Drew; a sister-in-law, Frances Branch; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Lola Branch Brandon.
A memorial service will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Norfolk United Methodist Church, 2729 Bowdens Ferry Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Finley O. Jones. A funeral will be held March 25 at 10 a.m. at Interboro Funeral Service, 544 Evergreen Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y. (718) 452-0101. Burial will be March 25 in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Riddick Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling local arrangements.
