George Allen Babb, 46, of Laurel St., died Monday, March 20, 1995, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Babb was born in Suffolk and was the son of the late George Thomas and Jane Turner Babb. He was Methodist.
Survivors include three sisters, Rose B. Rose of Walters, Hilda B. Edwards of Franklin and Emily B. Simms of Ivor; one brother, Paul T. Babb of Capron; one niece, Cindy Barnes; six nephews, Randy Drake, Wayne Drake, Joey Hedspeth, Doug Hedspeth, Lance Simms, Scott Simms; several great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, by the Rev. David Hobson and the Rev. Wayne Underwood. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
