Irene P. Royster, 42, of the 100 block of Howard St., died March 18, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Royster was born in Portsmouth and was the widow of Luke Royster II.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Barrett of Portsmouth; four sons, Luke Royster III of Newport News, Antione Royster, Wardain Royster and Vernon Brimage, all of Portsmouth; a sister, Mary Barrett of Portsmouth; four brothers, Howard Barrett, Pete Barrett and Tom Barrett, all of Portsmouth, and Vernon Faulkins of Hampton; 14 grandchildren; three nieces, Lavonne Barrett, Arlinda Barrett and Antionette Barrett, all of Portsmouth; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Royster of Newport News.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mission of Truth Full Gospel Church, Norfolk, by Pastor Junnie Jernigan. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Serenity Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
