Lucy Bland Gregg, 73, of the 1300 block of Wool Ave., died March 21, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Gregg was born in Portsmouth. She was the widow of James Gregg and was a former member of Celestial Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Louise Harris, Cynthia Poittilo and Vickie Parker, all of Portsmouth, and Robin Harris of Mobile, Ala.; two sons, Robert T. Harris and James N. Gregg, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Barbara Newsome of Portsmouth; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one aunt, Mary Seaborn; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Bland and Catherine Brimley; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Celestial Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday.
