Junius Lee ``Pokey James'' James, 69, of the 1600 block of Effingham St., died March 17, 1995 in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Mr. James was born in Portsmouth.
Survivors include one daughter; three sons, Cleveland Wood of Portsmouth, P.J. James of New York, N.Y., and another son, name and residence unknown; two brothers, Leroy James of Philadelphia, Pa., and Willie James of Portsmouth; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30p.m. Saturday at Corprew Funeral Home by Overseer Maurice ``Bobby'' Johnson. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Friday. The family will be at 193 Wilson Parkway and will assemble there for the funeral service.
