Ruth Wilkins Tuggle, 77, of the 4100 block of South St., died March 22, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Tuggle, a native of Cypress Chapel, Va., was a member of Bowers Hill Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, Robert N. Tuggle; three daughters, Mary Catherine Workman, Linda Wilkins Smith and Barbara Wilkins Smith, all of Portsmouth; two sons, John Richard Wilkins of Chesapeake and Milton B. Wilkins of Portsmouth; a sister, Josie A. Bridger of Suffolk; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bowers Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. David Phillips and the Rev. Edward Strange. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation.
