Edna Carl Carroll, 69, of Elmont Road, met with her supreme Commander to join his staff at Bayside Sentara Hospital on the 22nd day of March, 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Carroll Jr., who is retired from the U.S. Navy and Naval shipyards; three daughters and sons-in-law, whom she loved as much as her own children, Darlene and Edward Freeman, Cheryl and John Applegate and Kathryn and John Rhue; two sons, Frederick and Bill Theriault; two sisters, Louise Andrews and Elsie Moyer; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a half-brother, James Payne.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, with Chaplain Wayne Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will be at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
