Susan Hobbs Garrett, 41, of the 100 block of Carmichael Circle, a nurse with Skill Creations, died Thursday, March 16, 1995, in Halifax Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Milton James ``Jim'' Garrett of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; one son, Michael James Garrett of the home; parents, Claude P. and Nancy P. Hobbs of Washburn, Ill.; a paternal grandmother, Grace Naomi Hobbs of Harrisonburg, Va.; one sister, Karen Sue Kennell of Washburn, Ill.; two brothers, Lester Eugene Hobbs of Raleigh, N.C., and Gary Lee Hobbs of Chesapeake, Va.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at the Good News Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, with the Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive at Branch Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 8 p.m.
