LoLa Courtney Bowden, 83, of the 200 block of Maryland Ave., a retired registered nurse, died March 22, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was born in Portsmouth and was a member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church. She was retired from Norfolk General Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Alma Bowden Nelms of Yorktown, Va.; and a brother, Zolly L. Bowden of Fayetteville, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery by Dr. Ector Lee Hamrick. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Port Norfolk Baptist Church.
