CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Breaking and entering, 2700 block Colonial Drive, March 20, someone entered a garage and removed a Craftsman stand-up tool box with assorted tools, along with a portable tool box with tools. A chainsaw, circular saw, drill and a Mag-lite were also taken. Estimated value: $1,500.

Lost/stolen decal, 3600 block Ithaca Trail, March 20, someone reports that a Suffolk city decal was mailed but never received.

DISTRICT B

Petit larceny, 5500 block Godwin Boulevard, March 22, someone entered a school through an unlocked door and removed $30 worth of candy, a book bag and a portable radio.

DISTRICT C

Grand larceny, 800 block West Washington Street, March 16, someone entered a vehicle and removed a flip phone.

Lost/stolen, various, March 17, several people have reported their Suffolk city stickers as lost or stolen.

Attempted breaking and entering, 400 block Smith Street, March 17, a woman returned home from work and found the rear door of her house kicked in.

Unauthorized use, 200 Lee Street, March 18, someone took a vehicle without permission.

Shot fired into occupied dwelling, 400 block Linden Ave., March 20, while at home, someone heard a loud ``pop.'' Bullet holes were found in the bedroom window, the headboard of the bed and in the wall. A witness saw a vehicle pull up and heard about four or five shots fired.

Petit larceny, 300 block South Wellons Street, March 21, someone removed a Virginia State inspection sticker and a Suffolk city sticker from a vehicle.

Unauthorized use, 2300 block Godwin Boulevard, March 22, someone allowed a rental vehicle to be driven by an unauthorized person, but the vehicle was not returned at the due time.

Larceny, city decals, 300 block Freeman Mill Road and 300 block South Main Street, various people have reported their city decals were lost or stolen.

Petit larceny, 300 block Bank Street, March 17, someone was allowed to use a bicyle but never returned t.

Rape, East Washington and Liberty Street area, March 18, an estranged husband abducted his wife, raped her and left her on the street.

Lost/stolen decal, 1200 block Truman Road, March 20, someone reported a missing Suffolk city decal.

Motor vehicle theft, 1000 block Truman Road, March 21, someone reported a stolen car.

Grand larceny auto, 300 block Hill Street, March 21, someone removed keys and took a vehicle that was subsequently driven into a light pole, then deserted.

Hit-and-run property damage, Katherine Street and East Constance Road, March 21, someone struck a light pole while driving and fled the scene.

Lost/stolen decal, various, March 22, several people have reported that their Suffolk city decals have been either lost or stolen.

Threatening phone calls, 200 block Pinner Street, March 22, someone has reported that a person called and made threats.

DISTRICT E

Grand larceny, 200 block Barnes Road, March 18, while loading a U-Haul truck, someone removed several household items that belonged to another person.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Rountree Crescent, March 22, someone entered a residence by prying open the rear garage door and laundry room and removed a Ruger P89 Jerricho Baby Eagle. by CNB
