Union Camp Corp. in Franklin on March 22 dedicated its new, $108-million facility that makes paper from waste. By removing ink from high-quality scrap paper and using the recycled fiber, the company will generate high-quality paper from mountains of paper - 160 tons a year - that otherwise could be going into landfills. Officials cited the potential income and the environmental benefits. ILLUSTRATION: Staff photos by JOHN H. SHEALLY
