Elnora Darden, 88, of the 1100 block of Smokey Mountain Trail, died March 28, 1995, in Gregory's Adult Home Care.
Mrs. Darden was born in Princess Anne County. She retired as a homemaker in a private home, was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pritchard Road, Virginia Beach, and the widow of Jeremiah Darden.
Survivors include two sisters, Susie M. Holloway of Chesapeake and Carrie Osby of Norfolk; a niece, Celestine Thornton of Chesapeake; and two nephews, Waverly C. Holloway Jr. of Norfolk and Oscar Kinsey Jr. of Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of the late Elnora S. Kinsey and William Kinsey.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 184-B. Pritchard Road, Virginia Beach, by Brother John Giles. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hale Funeral Home. Family will assemble at her residence.
