SHEILA R. OREE

Sheila Rhodell Oree, 39, of the 1300 block of Lead St., died March 25, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she attended Ruffin High School and Kee's Business College and later moved to Baltimore, where she attended nursing school. She moved to New York and worked for the City of New York as a field worker for Child Welfare until she became ill.

Survivors include a daughter, Akira Inna Hechter Oree; her mother, Ethel L. Oree; her father, Lloyd Oree; a brother, Eric Todd Oree, known as Pedro; three uncles, Joseph Whitfield of Chesapeake and James Whitfield and Charlie Whitfield, both of Baltimore; and four aunts, Lucy Griffin of Norfolk, Annie Brown, Mary E.G. Everett and Mrs. Aldine, all of North Carolina.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in First Pentecostal U.N.H.C., 1434 Wilson Road, Norfolk, by Elder A. Ray Rouson. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
