Regarding the proposed lighted signboard(s) on Waterside Drive: Should City Council unwisely choose to reject the wisdom of its staff, the Planning Commission, the Design Review Board and numerous citizen groups by approving the aesthetically repugnant intrusions, perhaps I'll get on the entrepreneurial bandwagon myself.
I hereby claim the lawn of the Chrysler Museum at Olney and Duke, the curve of the Hague facing the Brambleton Bridge, the lawn in front of the pagoda at Ocean View Park and, while I'm at it, the roof of City Hall.
It could happen. Call your councilmen.
