Herschel Albert Faw, 74, of the 100 block of Westonia Road, an independent evangelist, died March 29, 1995, in his residence.
Survivors include his wife, June R. Faw; 13 children; one sister; 25 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in Westhaven Park Church of God in the 3500 block of Winchester Drive, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Frank Allen. The body was given to the State Anatomical Board for general medical research. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellspring-Maryview Hospice Program.
