Harry Preston Howe, 69, of the 4300 block of Tason Drive, a retired mechanical engineer, died March 29, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Howe was born in Woodbury, N.J. He was a past Scout master for 10 years and past president of the Toastmasters, Kiwanis Club and the Plumber's Association, all in Greensburg, Pa., and was Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Howe; two sons, Preston Jay Howe and Allen Lee Howe, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Margaret June Jewett of Baldwin, Kansas, Susan H. Fogg of San Jose, Calif., and Elizabeth H. Blanton of Zionville, N.C.; a brother, Thomas Howe of Hopkinton, N.H.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral and interment will be private. Friends may join the family in the Hill Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
