Thelma McPherson Hunt, 87, of Carlisle Ave., died March 29, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk and had retired from Farm Fresh. She was a charter member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. James W. Hunt Jr. of Durham, N.C., and Kip M. Hunt of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, James W. Hunt III of Miami, Fla., Mary Jane Hunt of Durham, N.C., William Hunt of Florence S.C., John Hunt of Raleigh, N.C., and Mary Anne Hunt of Raleigh, N.C.
The memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church by Dr. John R. Monroe. Burial will be private. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
